This Green Earth & The Local View
This Green Earth is a weekly, hour-long program that focuses on the environment and environmentalism. Co-hosts Christopher Cherniak and Claire Wiley explore the science, economics and ethics behind the environment, natural resources and sustainability.
The program includes interviews with national and international experts in the fields of climate, conservation, ecosystems, agriculture, aquaculture, and sustainability.
Guests include scientists, conservationists, best-selling authors, documentarians, and journalists, such as CBS correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti, Former Wall Street Journal reporter Roger Thurow, Carl Safina and National Geographic Explorers Brian Puma, Nalini Nadkarni and Pete McBride.
This Green Earth's mission: to educate listeners about the importance of environmental preservation, conservation and stewardship.
